# Nebula Workspace: Your Simulation Toolkit

> Explore the eight tools inside your Nebula workspace — email, chat, documents, tasks, workspace, Mission Control, updates, and Lucy AI — all seeded for your scenario.

Your Nebula workspace is the command center where your simulation unfolds. Once onboarding is complete, the platform prepares a fully personalized environment for you, seeding it with emails, tasks, documents, and contacts that match your assigned scenario and role. Every tool works together to create a realistic, interactive experience that challenges your decision-making and leadership skills.

<Note>
  The workspace is not available until you finish onboarding. If you see a loading or "preparing" state after onboarding completes, wait a moment — the system is generating your scenario content in the background.
</Note>

## Workspace preparation

After onboarding, the workspace moves through three states before it becomes available to you:

| Status      | What it means                                      |
| ----------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| `idle`      | Onboarding has not yet completed                   |
| `preparing` | Your scenario content is being generated |
| `ready`     | Everything is set — your workspace is live         |
| `error` | Something went wrong during setup; contact support |

Once the status reaches `ready`, all eight tools below become accessible from your workspace desktop.

## How workspace content is created

The AI generates all content in your workspace based on the scenario you selected during onboarding and the role you were assigned. This includes:

* **Emails** from stakeholders that reflect the current situation in your scenario
* **Tasks** pre-assigned to you based on your role's responsibilities
* **Documents** such as briefs, reports, and templates relevant to your case study
* **Chat channels** and direct message contacts aligned with your team structure

You interact with this content just as you would in a real workplace, and your choices — which emails you respond to, which tasks you prioritize, what you write in your documents — shape how the scenario progresses.

<Tip>
  Check Mission Control first when you enter the workspace. It gives you the clearest picture of your objectives, key stakeholders, and recommended first moves.
