The Documents app is your workspace for creating written deliverables inside the simulation. Think of it as a lightweight word processor built into Nebula. You use it to produce the reports, proposals, analyses, and other written artifacts that your scenario calls for. Some documents may already be waiting for you when you first enter your workspace — pre-seeded by the AI based on your role and scenario.

Pre-seeded documents

When the workspace is prepared for you, the scenario engine may create starter documents based on your case study. These could include:
  • A situation brief outlining the current state of your organization
  • Templates for deliverables your role is expected to produce
  • Background reports relevant to the challenges you will face
You can read, edit, and build on these documents — they are yours to work with throughout the simulation.
Check Mission Control for a list of recommended document types for your specific scenario. The Execution section of Mission Control often lists deliverables and the formats your scenario expects you to produce.

Viewing your documents

Open the Documents app to see all documents in your session. Each entry shows the document title and when it was last updated.

Creating a document

1

Open the Documents app

Select the Documents app from your workspace desktop.
2

Create a new document

Click the button to create a new document and give it a title. Titles support up to 200 characters.
3

Write your content

Enter your content in the editor. Documents support up to 50,000 characters of body text — enough for detailed reports, proposals, and analysis.
4

Save your work

Changes save as you work. Your document is stored in your session and available anytime you return to the Documents app.

Editing a document

Select any document from the list to open it. You can update both the title and the content at any time. There is no version history — edits overwrite the previous state — so treat each save as the current working version.

What to create in your simulation

Documents are one of the primary ways you demonstrate competency in your simulation. Common use cases include:

Reports

Summarize findings, present data analysis, or document the outcomes of decisions you have made.

Proposals

Recommend a course of action, outline a strategy, or pitch a plan to your simulated leadership team.

Meeting summaries

Record the outcomes of conversations or decisions from your chat and email exchanges.

Analysis documents

Break down stakeholder dynamics, market conditions, or internal challenges your scenario presents.

Document scope

Documents belong to your session only. They are not shared across sessions or visible to other users. When your session ends, your documents are preserved as part of your session record.
