Your Nebula workspace is the command center where your simulation unfolds. Once onboarding is complete, the platform prepares a fully personalized environment for you, seeding it with emails, tasks, documents, and contacts that match your assigned scenario and role. Every tool works together to create a realistic, interactive experience that challenges your decision-making and leadership skills.
The workspace is not available until you finish onboarding. If you see a loading or “preparing” state after onboarding completes, wait a moment — the system is generating your scenario content in the background.

Workspace preparation

After onboarding, the workspace moves through three states before it becomes available to you:
StatusWhat it means
idleOnboarding has not yet completed
preparingYour scenario content is being generated
readyEverything is set — your workspace is live
errorSomething went wrong during setup; contact support
Once the status reaches ready, all eight tools below become accessible from your workspace desktop.

Your workspace tools

Email

A fully simulated email client with inbox, drafts, sent, and more. Send and receive messages from AI personas and stakeholders in your scenario.

Chat

Direct message conversations with individual AI personas on your team. Select a coworker from the sidebar and start a conversation.

Documents

Create and edit written work products — reports, proposals, analysis documents, and more — that serve as deliverables in your simulation.

Tasks

Track your simulation to-dos with priority levels and status tracking. Tasks may also be assigned to you by personas or the scenario engine.

Workspace

Team chat channels and direct message threads for broader group collaboration. Create channels, message specific personas, and stay on top of team communication.

Mission Control

Your scenario briefing hub. Displays your objectives, stakeholder map, success criteria, and real-time awareness of your progress. Open this first.

Updates

A live feed of notifications from your simulation — stakeholder activity, task changes, decision prompts, and scenario events.

Lucy AI

Your in-simulation AI coach. Ask Lucy for strategic guidance, reflection prompts, stakeholder insights, and next-step recommendations.

How workspace content is created

The AI generates all content in your workspace based on the scenario you selected during onboarding and the role you were assigned. This includes:
  • Emails from stakeholders that reflect the current situation in your scenario
  • Tasks pre-assigned to you based on your role’s responsibilities
  • Documents such as briefs, reports, and templates relevant to your case study
  • Chat channels and direct message contacts aligned with your team structure
You interact with this content just as you would in a real workplace, and your choices — which emails you respond to, which tasks you prioritize, what you write in your documents — shape how the scenario progresses.
Check Mission Control first when you enter the workspace. It gives you the clearest picture of your objectives, key stakeholders, and recommended first moves.
